Courtyard by Marriott Newark-University of Delaware

The room I was originally assigned had water all over the bathroom floor, and the ceiling light was leaking. I tried to call the front desk on the phone in the bathroom, but it did not work. I had to use the phone by the bed. I packed up all my things and went back downstairs to be given a new room and an apology. I was also given breakfast passes for the inconvenience, which was nice.

The server at breakfast was A M A Z I N G…so helpful, kind and energetic. She put a smile on our faces each morning. We also had great service by the bartender in the evenings.

The staff was really helpful and the kitchen was open late and I was even able to find something for my son who has celiac disease so that was a bonus.
